The UIDAI aka Matchless Identification Authority Of India is an Indian Government initiative that runs a ambitious project named Aadhaar. The project aims to provide matchless identification number comprising of 12 digits to all the citizens of India. This number will serve as a recognized proof of identity & address pan India. The project has received lot of criticism but continues to sail smoothly under the able leadership of former CEO of Indian IT Services Giant Infosys Mr. Nandan Nilekani. What makes that UIDAI information middle fascinating? Well it home to the world largest bio-metric identification technique. Aadhaar chief Nilekani says that the datacenter is located somewhere in Whitefield suburbs. IE reports that this 2000 sqft. datacenter is located inside a nondescript building somewhere in East Bangalore. It stacks hundreds of servers racks and the entire area is physically & digitally secured. The building is without a sign & no visitors are allowed within the facility.
